A member of the Board of Directors of the Najran Chamber visited A. Abdullah bin Salem Al Mukhles, Najran University, where he met during the visit with the Head of the Partnerships Unit at the Applied College, Dr. Saleh bin Hamel Al Salem and a number of college employees.
During the meeting, a number of aspects of cooperation were discussed between the Chamber and the University, and the role of both parties in developing the local community through the implementation of a number of programs that contribute to community service and enhance the local economy in a number of different fields.
During the meeting, Al Mukhles explained the importance of cooperation between the two sides in a number of fields, most notably:1. Studies, research, and activation of new educational programs in a number of specializations.
2. Feasibility study and support for entrepreneurs.
3. Marketing investment opportunities in the Najran region and highlighting its competitive advantage.
4. Holding a career day annually in conjunction with graduation week.
Al Mukhles also stressed that joint cooperation between the university and the Chamber enhances the sustainable development of the local community by enhancing the spirit of innovation and leadership, providing job opportunities, and improving the quality of life, stressing the Chamber’s keenness to cooperate with a number of governmental agencies, especially academic ones, which work to support economic and social development in the region.
