Referring to the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. 45509621/3 dated 04/21/1446 AH, indicating that the Federation received an urgent telegram from the Ministry of Commerce No. (12836) dated 04/18/1446 AH, referring to the telegram of His Excellency the CEO of the General Authority for Food and Drug No. (18886/10) dated 10/21/2024 AD, which included the immediate notification issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) dated 03/28/1446 AH corresponding to 10/01/2024 AD, which states the outbreak of Newcastle disease in the (Podlaskie) district of the Republic of Poland and the issuance of the Authority’s decision No. (17689/10) dated 12/4/1446 AH corresponding to 10/15/2024 AD regarding imposing a temporary ban on the import of poultry meat, table eggs, their products and equipment from the (Podlaskie) province of the Republic of Poland, with the exception of poultry meat, table eggs and their products that have undergone a heat treatment that is sufficient to eliminate Newcastle disease, provided that they comply with the health requirements, controls and approved standard specifications, with the attachment of a health certificate issued by an accredited body proving that the product is free of the virus or has been eliminated.
