Reference to the letter of the Union of Saudi Chambers No. 45507204 dated 02/24/1446 AH, in which it is indicated that the Union received the General Ports Authority’s letter No. (1/38/5049) dated 02/22/1446 AH, which includes Circular No. (17) for the year 2024 AD, in which it is referred to what was done It is monitored by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority through the export movement at border crossings for the presence of containers loaded with liquid materials that may be dangerous and flammable, such as chemicals, petrochemicals, or petroleum derivatives, which are materials restricted by clearance permits from the competent authorities, or which are materials that can be exported abroad and remain for a long period. Inside the port’s courtyards, they are directly exposed to the sun’s rays because they do not obtain clearance permits in advanceFailure to declare the customs declaration for the correct material inside the containers, failure to complete one of the export conditions, or failure by the customer to review the customs office, and this is considered non-compliance with instructions for such dangerous materials.
Whereas, the Authority stresses that the request to transport dangerous goods that carry flammable liquid materials on board ships will not be accepted unless there are prior clearance permits from the competent authorities for the exported consignment, and that the grace period for consignments to enter the port yards for exporters who have a prior clearance permit from the competent authority shall be before The ship's departure time is 48 hours.
