With reference to the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. 45506573 dated 01/26/1446 AH, which indicates that the Federation received the letter of the General Authority for Food and Drug No. (2/3442) dated 01/22/1446 AH, which stated that after reviewing the immediate notification report issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) dated 01/12/1446 AH corresponding to 07/18/2024 AD, which states the outbreak of Newcastle disease in the state of Rio Grande Do Sul in the Federative Republic of Brazil, and after the food sector studied the health situation and reviewed the recommendations of the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) contained in Article "10.9" of the Terrestrial Animal Health Code. The Authority issued Resolution No. (10/2819) dated 01/17/1446 AH regarding imposing a temporary ban on the import of poultry meat, table eggs and their products from the state of (Rio Grande Do Sul) in the Federative Republic of Brazil.
