Reference to the letter of the Union of Saudi Chambers No. (45104090) dated (09/08/1445 AH), in which it is indicated that the Union received the General Authority for Ports letter No. 1/31/70/22147, dated 09/01/1445 AH, which includes a reference to cooperation and partnership with the Zakat Authority. Tax and customs, and with reference to Circular issued by the Authority No. (10) of 2022 AD, regarding the emphasis on entering contact information for importers in the manifest and bills of lading. The General Ports Authority would like to announce the obligation for shipping agents to enter the data of the importers’ goods owners (mobile number - email) when uploading the manifest via the Fasah platform, as of 05/01/2024 AD.The Authority will monitor the index of importers’ compliance with data entry, and all necessary regulatory measures will be taken for those who are not in compliance for each case separately, while shipping agents will bear the costs of amending the data.
