Reference to the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45104089) dated (09/08/1445 AH), in which it is indicated that the Federation received an email from the Ministry of Commerce, which included a telegram from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property regarding the questionnaire “Measuring organizations’ rewards for employee inventions.” With reference to Council of Ministers Resolution No. (213) dated 03/02/1444 AH, approving the national strategy for intellectual property, as the strategy included one of the performance measurement indicators concerned with the issue of adopting an invention rewards system.Employees, which is measured by polling the opinion of those concerned through a questionnaire targeting workers in the public and private sectors, which works to “support the activation of the employee invention reward system,” which contributes to the development of a strong intellectual property system in the Kingdom that supports the innovation-based economy.
