Reference to the letter of the Union of Saudi Chambers No. (45101752) dated 04/18/1445 AH, which referred to the email received from the Ministry of Commerce on 10/30/2023 AD, which included the circular telegram of His Excellency the President of the Royal Court No. (26745) dated 04/11/1445 AH, The reference is to the telegram of His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance No. (44597828) dated 08/10/1444 AH, regarding some parties announcing advocacy activities without referring to the Ministry, and in it he referred to the letter of the Council of Experts in the Council of Ministers No. (7667) dated 08/11. /1444 AH, attached to which are the Commission’s minutes No. (321) dated 11/08/1444 AH, which includes the following recommendations (First) Confirming what was decided by Royal Order No. (A/3) dated 01/20/1414 AH,
That the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance shall take over everything related to Islamic affairs, guidance and calling to God, and what was stipulated in the generous directive communicated in my telegram No. (69545) dated 01/12/1442 AH, is that all government agencies and public institutions must coordinate with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance when The desire of any of these entities to establish programs related to advocacy and guidance, in order to obtain their views on this matter before implementing these programs. (Second) All government agencies and public institutions must adhere to what is issued by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance regarding the establishment of programs related to advocacy and guidance, upon the desire of those entities. in establishing these programmes.
(Third) That the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance monitor any violations - according to its capabilities - issued by any governmental entity or public institution in connection with the establishment of these programs, and coordinate with the entity to remove the violation, as stated in the minutes of the Council of Political and Security Affairs issued No. (3665) and dated 03/27/1445 AH, which includes the Council’s opinion approving what the Council’s Standing Committee considered approving the aforementioned recommendations, and that the Ministry of Interior and the Presidency of State Security are responsible for following up on the implementation of this in coordination with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, and reporting any violation by a government agency.
