Reference to the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45101011) dated 03/05/1445 AH, which refers to the letter of the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers No. (AG/233) dated 09/18/2023 AD, regarding the Union’s intention to prepare an analytical study of the Gulf local content, It includes the views of the private sector regarding the draft Gulf local content preference system, and submitting proposals regarding goods that can be excluded from this system, with the aim of submitting the recommendations and outcomes of the study to the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries,
This is based on the recommendation of the tenth consultative meeting between Their Excellencies the Ministers of Trade and Industry and Their Excellencies the Presidents of the Councils of Federations and Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
