May the peace, blessings, and mercy of God be upon you ,,,

A reference to the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44104591) dated (03/11/1444 AH), which bears a reference to the letter of the Public Transport Authority No. (1/44/8836) dated (441/8836 AH), in which reference is made to the regulation of the fare activity and the fare broker and guidance. Good Quality His Excellency and Minister of Finance No. (27/1/1441 AH) and its amendments, which stipulated in Article Twenty-Three:

The taxi driver is required to:

1- To have a valid general driving license in accordance with the traffic law and its regulations.

Passing the medical examination specified by the Authority.

3- He must have a certificate of absence of any criminal record.

4- He must have obtained a training certificate approved by the Authority.

Referring to Clause (First) of Article Twenty-Four of the same Regulations, which stipulates that “taking into account the provisions of Article (Twenty-Three), those licensed to engage in taxi activity must obtain a driver’s card working for him after paying financial fines (if any) according to the following conditions:

1- The facility license must be valid.

2- The identity proof of the driver must be valid.

3- The existence of a contractual relationship between the driver and the licensee.

4- A personal photo of the driver, size (4*6).

5- Payment of the financial consideration (if any).

And with reference to Clause (Third) of Article 24 of the same regulation, which stipulates:

The driver’s card is issued according to the form approved by the Authority for a period of one year, provided that the validity of the card does not exceed the date of expiry of the license granted to him, or the expiration of the driving license, and it must be kept, and there is no activity after the expiration of its period.

Where the mandatory activation of the drivers card will start in the fare activity (public fare - private fare - airport fare) on (01/07/2023 AD) according to the following conditions:

1- The driver must be linked to the unified identification number of the establishment licensed to practice the activity, or the existence of a contractual relationship in the event that the driver obtains a permit from (ajeer) to work in a specific establishment

For a specific and temporary period of time, and that the duration of the card is also related to the duration of this contractual relationship, without prejudice to what is stated in Clause (Third) of this Article.

2- The driver's profession should be (a taxi driver or a public driver).

3- Validity of the license for the facility.

4- Payment of violations (if any).

5- The driver must have a valid driver's license (public fare).

6- The identity proof of the driver must be valid.

7- A personal photo of the driver (4 * 6)

Therefore, we inform you of this for information and information. We also hope that your Excellency will issue drivers cards through the (transportation portal) on the link (naql.sa).
