In reference to the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44104377) dated (18/10/1444 AH) that the Federation received the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. 25069 / p on 13/10/1444 AH (attached) and based on the data of the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) which states the control of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) In the State of Kuwait and the absence of a new outbreak of the disease in it, and after referring to the recommendations issued by the World Organization for Animal Health contained in Article (88) of the Constitution of Land Animal Health, which states that the ban can be lifted.
We inform you of the issuance of the Authority's decision No. (24451/Q) dated 29/09/1444 AH to lift the temporary ban imposed on the import of beef and sheep meat and their products and equipment from the State of Kuwait.
