In reference to the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44104064) dated (25/09/1444 AH), which includes that the Federation received a telegram from the National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases (annex), which refers to the warning bulletin issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) on 10/03/2023 AD, which states that there are cases of equine infectious anemia in the Republic of Uruguay .
We would like to inform you of the issuance of the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases, which includes a ban on the import of equine species from the Republic of Uruguay due to equine infectious anemia.
