In reference to the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44103277) dated (08/08/1444 AH) that the Federation received the letter of the General Transport Authority No. (6445/44/1) dated 14/07/1444 AH , in which the decision of His Excellency the President of the General Transport Authority in charge No. (633/44/1) dated 11/06/1444 AH The judge approved the adoption of the document specifying the daily and weekly hours of driving and rest for bus drivers working in specialized transport activities, renting and directing buses and international transport for passengers by buses, provided that this decision is implemented after (90) days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, as it was published on 29/01/2023 AD, based on what is stated in Article (30) of the regulations governing the activity of Specialized transport, rental and routing of buses, which stipulates that "the driver who works with the licensee shall be entitled to the following: Among them is what is stated in paragraph (20) on: "Compliance withthe approved daily and weekly rest working hours." Article Fifty-Four of the same Regulation states: The carrier who carries out the activity between the cities of the Kingdom or outside them shall abide by the following controls: It is stated in paragraph (7) that: "Compliance with the approved daily and weekly driving and rest hours" and a reference to Article (fourteen) of the Regulations governing the activity of International transport of passengers by buses, which stipulates: "The driver who works with the carrier shall comply with the following: Including what is stated in paragraph (19) on: "Adherence to the approved daily and weekly driving and rest hours" The authority wishes to circulate to all the mentioned activities to adhere in accordance with the aforementioned decision to what is stated in the document according to the annex, and to inform and promote carriers and specialized transport practitioners Cand direct buses and international transport by buses to comply hereby.
