In reference to the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44101615) dated (21/04/1444 AH), which indicates that the Federation received the letter of the Ministry of Finance No. (14962) dated (15/04/1444 AH) (attached), in which reference is made to the item (RawSAof the Royal Passage No. (M/128) bit dated (13/11/1440 AH) promulgated approving the Government Tenders and Procurement Law, which stipulates that "Subject to the provisions of item four) of this decree, the Law shall apply to works and purchases that were offered before its entry into force in accordance with a mechanism set by the Minister of Finance, without prejudice to the procedures taken in respect of such works and purchases before its entry into force" and to Article (ninety-eighth) of the Government Tenders and Procurement Law, promulgated by Royal Decree No. (M/58) Bdated (04/09/1427 AH) and repeal any provisions contrary to it."
