Reference to the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44100185) dated (18/01/1444 AH), which indicates that the Federation of Saudi Chambers received the letter of the General Authority for Transport No. (592/44/1) dated (16/01/1444 AH) and referred to the organizing regulation For the activity of car rental and leasing brokers issued by the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics No. (120/41/1) dated (07/05/1441 AH) and amended by His Excellency’s decision No. (01/114) dated (09/08/1442 AH) which aims to regulate the activity of car rental and leasing brokers Car rental and rental broker activity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a reference to Article (Fourth) of the regulation of the General Authority for Transport, which stipulates that “the authority aims to regulate and supervise the transport activity, and the safety of the operation of its facilities and equipment and its good management, providing it at a good level and appropriate cost, and regulating investment.” The authority would like to emphasize that all licensed establishments in the car rental activity be the purchase of cars for the purpose of leasing only and not to engage in the activity of selling new cars.
