Reference to the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (43500071) dated (07/01/1443 AH), which refers to the meeting of the National Committee for Agriculture and Fishing of the Federation of Saudi Chambers with His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture to discuss the difficulties faced by importers of vegetables and fruits when requesting the issuance of import licenses, And based on the approval of His Excellency, an exception was granted to importers of vegetables and fruits from issuing the license for a period of three months starting from (01/01/1443 AH), provided that companies wishing to obtain the deadline are obligated to write a pledge to abide by the conditions and controls during the coming period.
Accordingly, we assure the interested affiliates of importers of vegetables and fruits from national companies to attach a pledge and a copy of the commercial register of the facility, in order to provide the union with a list of the concerned importers so that the union can submit the names of those requesting the exception to the Ministry to take the necessary action, within a maximum of one week from its date.
